I am looking at a 99 f350 drw with roughly a 12inch lift. I’m in Ohio and it got shipped up from Florida. It has 144k and they are currently asking $15,999 which I believe is still high. Turbo looks newer o the truck, interior is 10/10. Has heater core bypass and needs rear tires ASAP. Any opinions? First diesel, willing to do work and put some money in it upfront just not extremely knowledgeable yet. Thank you!

1999 F350 DRW lifted
My 97 F350 7.3 has 358k miles and has been awesome but I've taken great care of it since it was new. If you get a good one they are great trucks and the best engine Ford ever put out. But if it has not been taken care of or been abused they are very expensive to work on. I wouldn't buy one sight unseen or without a mechanic check by a diesel mechanic.
I'd pass and keep looking for a stock truck that you can lift and build up yourself. Your going to remove parts from whats there, so why pay for them and have a truck thats questionable.
