With just a cat delete and a Zoodad mod I went from 14.7mpg to 16.2mpg. That was hand calculated very meticulously also, just so I could be sure. My truck also picked up some power also. It definitely brought out the whistle on my turbo too. I couldn't hear it at all before. Now my 6.0L '07 sounds a lot like my old 7.3L '02 in the exhaust department. I'm happy with it!

I wanted to delete my muffler too (to see if that netted any more gains), but the delete pipe they (Pure Diesel Power) sent me was too short to work on my '07. The same pipe worked fine on my buddy's '03 though. He said our mufflers were dfferent. I haven't figured out what to do about that one yet.

Crap, I'm an idiot. I just looked at my buddy's truck and I think my muffler delete pipe will work on my truck too. I didn't know I was supposed to cut the straight section off of the front of the muffler and use it too. If that works, I'll post back. Then I'll fill up completely and carefully recalculate the mileage of the next complete tank. Duh... Sorry PDP... :)

I am running a great deal on turbo back exhaust kits right now so you can scrap the whole exhaust and get all the benefits of it....

Otherwise I can sell you a Offroad pipe so you can just delete the cat and run your stock exhaust without much benefit... you'll still have some, but the full system is the way to go

How much did you pay for that grandrock muffler? I'd LOVE 20mpg! Running a gutted cat with a Walker BTM and have my Edge on economy and I'm getting under 13 in the city and around 17 on the highway. I sure miss the 23mpg I had in my 01 7.3 2wd with the TW 6pos chip!
