ok well im gonna try to finds nice lugs and caps is there anyone that has tried this?

 

you talking on a dually or Single wheel? The lug nuts on our trucks arent big enought to fit the semi lug caps. they are 1.5" or 2" i think.

 

I got a 450 dually so i am hoping to figure out something diff the cap look ugly and they get so beat up within a year

 

I am running some 1 1/8" lug nut covers for a big rig. They fit pretty snug around the washer area of the factory lug nut. I have successfully lost a few of my factory caps and had to find a fix. Just trying these out to see how I like them. Not to fond of the spikes but its the only ones that i could find that were 1 1/8". Here is a picture, not the best but it may help.

 

Thanks for the info bud i found a place that customixes tractor trailers by me im gonna stop and see if i can find something similiar...

 

I have been loooking for something to fit on mine. Mine are 1" lugnuts.

There's a thread with pictures of my truck and its spikes. I love them and it took me forever to find a size that fit, but I think they turned out nice. If you read the post, I was worried about them not having enough space to grip tight enough, but since I put them on I have had no issues with them pulling away from the wheel or falling off. Except for when I brushed them against a garbage can and one came off...:doh:

I've had no luck finding center caps though, but I'm cool with the black showing since the rest of my truck has black accents.

Gotta love when the sun hits them just right...
