Normal crank time

2004 F250 6.0.

What is a normal crank time on these engines? Sometime the engine fires right up and other times it take a couple seconds to light off (3 seconds, not 10 seconds or anything like that). I have a hot restart issue as well that I'm hoping is stand pipes/dummy plugs. I've checked all the values that are recommended by DTR (RIP) and everything checks out.

Doing head gaskets, stand pipes, dummy plugs, oil cooler and t-stat this weekend.

Thanks

This has been brought up before and it varies on everybody's truck.

Leading hypothesis last time I checked computer has to figure out which cylinders are where so it knows which ones to fire.

Update the HPO system then throw on a 6.4 starter. It will start in a second......every time.
