Changed the oil and filter yesterday with some delo 15w40. Also the fuel filters. Glad I did the fuel filters looked liked they needed it. Then today I got ahold of SCT and sent in my X4 to have them look at it.

The crud in the pan is old stuff. I'm not sure the change interval I just bought the truck a few months ago. First full service done by me. On the filter crud I'm not sure if its from trying to squeeze it out of that crappy location or it was just that bad.

Got the diagnosis. ECM is toast. CPS produces good signal, but when you plug in the ECM, the CPS signal goes bad,some kind of internal backfeed or short. Parts,labor, troubleshooting time, $3500

Ouch.....that hurts.

Finally got an alternator put in from a junkyard. They said its new whatever that means, don't know if it's a reman or not. But its 140amps and motorcraft for 79 bucks. Batteries are charging now and we'll test her out tomorrow.

Truck ran great this morning. Both batteries were charged fired her up, she didn't like the cold starting lmao. But my volts are now between 13.7-14.3 best they've ever been.

Put in new headlights, tailight's, and third brake light. Wife ordered them for me along with smoked license plate covers. I'm not sure what's gotten into her lately but I feel she wants something big. Lol. In the last month I've gotten a new muzzleloader, crossbow, and the lights...I'm being setup. Lol.
